This book was interesting. Having each chapter be about diffrent months and diffrent seasons. But for me it was a hard read and kind of hard to understand. It did take me awhile to read but I got threw it and read it all.
The book was interesting to read due to the fact that it was different for each chapter and each season. But this book was honestly so difficult for me to get into. I was lost a lot of the time and It just wasn't fun to read to me. Everyone has different opinions though. My advice if you do read this is to read little by little. Don't try to read a huge amount at one time. It's hard!!
(******) I loved this book. The imagery in this book is fantastic. As soon as I began to read I found myself in the authors footsteps following each story he told. This book also gave a lot of insight on the how much things have changed here on earth. One of the best books I have read. It is one I would recommend to everyone.
I have to say this book is one of my new favorite texts. It includes remarkable imagery that catches me and keeps me in a beautiful landscape, whether that be the Rocky Mountains, the forests, or the prairies. It also opened my mind regarding the connection between us and the land. (* * * * *)
This is the boringest book I have ever read, and I had to read some boring books for english last year. It is too dry and not educational in any sense. All he talks about is common sense stuff that anybody with any sort of a brain could figure out. He marvels at how field mice go to the top of a hill when the river floods. Well no dip sherlock they do not want to drown in the river. All in all very boring, no usefull information, and I would highly recomend no one to read it.
