This book has really expanded my understanding of the world we are living in and what it is developing into. I really enjoyed this book because the topic hits close to home. Children are no longer exploring or interested in playing outside. This isn't just an issue of the young, Louv explores the view of society on this issue. I would recommend reading this book, especially if you grew up playing outside like I did. I now have a greater appreciation for my childhood experience outdoors. You could really get some insight into what you think is a proper upbringing and how you may want to change the way your family thinks. You may even begin thinking about changing this trend with your children and reviving the spirit of outdoor exploration in future generations. This book is easy to relate to, which makes for an easy read.
This book is full of great information and it helped me see things in a completely new way. I liked this book because as a child I did play outside a lot, and I went exploring into nature, and it helped me see what nature has done for everyone. The book does get a little repetitive, but it's an easy read. The author also puts a lot of relatable stories and situations in it, which helps you to connect to the books information.
